Kestrel's Eye - Film

This movie was not very fun to watch, but it definitely ws interesting to see how birds like Kestrel's live an everday life. It was cool to view life from an animals perspective, but it is very boring. From the video standpoint, Kestrel's do the same thing everyday, they hunt for food, eat, and observe things that are going on around them.

To watch how the female Kestrel took care of her babies reminded me of how humans take care of theirs. The Kestrel would bring warmth and food for her babies, it would hunt for the food, and then would bring it back to feed them. Making sure their babies were well nurtured. Humans pretty much do the same for thing for the babies, maybe not hunt for the food, but they do provide food to feed them.

All humans and animals need the same thing to survive, food and shelter. Without this a human would be dead, as well as animals. Even though I believe we have a higher rank over animals, I came to realize they need the same thing as we humans do. We should be more considerate of nature, and not only think about ourselves. If we are cutting down all these tree's, we are destroying a Kestrel's home, so they look for shelter elsewhere. For example, in the movie the Kestrel lives outside of the church, and not in the tree's. The Kestrel leaves her eggs waiting to hatch in a hole of the church rather than in a nest. This movie made me have a different view point on nature and animals, it was definitely and eye opener.
