Blog #3

This next chapter is almost a follow up on the end of the previous chapter. In this chapter, Kohak discusses how humans think they are more superior than anything in the world. Kohak talks about how animals, actually show better moral character than humans sometime. I have to disagree with that statement because not only untamed, but domesticated animals don't show the best of listening skills at times. I can tell you this because I have a dog that runs across the street (even though she knows not to do it) everytime she see's a bird or rabbitt on the other side of the street. I also do not agree (even though he brings up a strong point philosophically) with the way Kohak compares an animal getting slaughtered to a human being slaughtered for food.
The last point that I would like to make (and disagree with) is the way Kohak compared eating an egg to eating an something with ivory chopsticks. He said that there was no difference between the two because both of these situations were harming animals to show human superiority. I think that this is a huge difference because for one, there are many chickens in the world, elephants being killed for their tusks (and their tusks only) is inhumane because they were at one point on the brink of extinction.
