Deep and Shallow Ecology

In the book Koha'k talks about deep and shallow ecology in which they both deal with how people look at their views in the topic of ecology. With the deep ecology it looks at the roots of the ecological crisis in deeply held human attitudes towards nature. Then shallow ecology is the technocratic solution to environmental problems. The deep ecology is something that is important because it looks at what causes problems that we are facing with our environment. This aspect is important because it can help look at what is causing environmental problems and can help us make changes.

The shallow ecology is important but what doesn't help it is that it only looks at the surface of things and it really doesn't get into what is really causing the problems with our environment. It is important to look at the root causes of environmental causes becuase then it can help us change the way we are interacting with our environment.
